for the last 2 months almost I cannot get away from having chronic neck and shoulder tension. my neck/shoulder muscles knot up easily. i've been seeing a chiropractor for the last 2-3 weeks or so and have seen slight improvements but this s*** is just so frustrating man. my x-rays came back showing my neck curvature non-existent so i guess that explains a lot but ive been going to the chiropractor for some time now. shouldn't it be normal now? like i want to bang my head against a wall. i can't stop being uncomfortable because of my neck and shoulders knotting up. like bro if i even lay down in a slightly different way my neck and shoulders will start knotting up.
i have to study for an exam and I can't continue because of the discomfort.
im always on the computer cuz I have to study for school and also need it for work.
could be tied to posture or to the way you walk/pressure put on your feet. that s*** travels up your spine to your shoulders and neck.
nah fam...my posture def dont look like that. i couldn't imagine how uncomfortable that would feel for me

thats an exaggeration but even slight differences in posture over time can help. also look into morning stretches for back/shoulders and maybe check your bed/pillows too
problem is it could be a bunch of things but the more of them you change the overall better life is tbh
Posture, muscular imbalance (some muscles are stronger than others and pull your limbs and joints into weird positions)
Maybe you move in your sleep and strain yourself

i think my right arm is stronger than my left but am pretty sure that is a common thing no?
Either way def start yoga and maybe some dumbbell work on your shoulders and back to balance things out

Could be your traps, shoulders etc all those muscle tendons are connected and pull on eschother
If you hurt your neck you can have pain shooting down to your arm for example

I think you should focus on mobility and upper back/shoulder workouts you can search up
Maybe consider how you’re sleeping to
Get that area less stiff and stretch out your muscles
Are you an anxious person, @op? Muscle tension in the neck and shoulders is a very common side effect of anxiety and over time that tension can become pretty painful

This is just some random article I pulled from a doctor's blog but if you google the link between neck/shoulder pain and seasonal allergies you'll see a lot of results from legitimate sources:
