you dont know where its gonna go, just like the main character doesnt know. Also its a spoiler to say this but foxx is not a main character in this movie, he's just in the movie a lot as tubb's right hand man. you've just met the other lead when the movie stopped. that's why the bartender character in the beginning is important... it fries your expectations as to who will be imporant to the plot or not, if someone is gonna show up again. it makes you live in the moment instead of with the editorialization of a traditional narrative... and then you are blindsided by isabella's character just like crocket
