Berlinguer I Love You is half a political farce half an hilarious comic story (with a raw, bitter and cynical tone) about an eccentric young man Mario Cioni (Roberto Benigni), only able to masturbate the whole day, whose Oedipal relationship with his mother puts his life in constant turmoil.
