Not a single negro in OP
Those videos were just the first ones I thought of off the top of my head
There is a huge market for all this on Instagram with the younger generations and people in their early 20s and I see it everyday
Again what is huge to you ?
I’ve not seen any of these kids posted or talked about anywhere and without exposing what I do, I would of if they were bubbling

I’ve seen these artists grow bigger throughout the year there’s enough fans for all of them people just have to slowly find out about them but it will be soon because of tik tok culture
I just wish this all wasn’t categorized as hyperpop it seriously isn’t that
it's really just the audiences fault, people will always feel the need to categorize something if it's slightly different. the name makes no sense because somebody like quinn doesn't only make pop (look at MBN), or somebody like Wells can literally make anything from a DnB banger with lilac to a manic trap song w/ her own twist like Iris.
the main issue is that it forces them into a box and people expect it to sound a certain way when if you actually listen to more than a few songs from each none of them sound alike. it's just like the term soundcloud rap. i like the name itself, it sounds pretty cool, but the way people go about it sucks. the artists themselves don't even like it that much either so I never understood it being called that.
also there's a lot more in the scene that aren't talked about like wubz, funeral, midwxst, blxty, saturn, wido, kuru, dltzk, AViT, yurms, etc.
david, oaf1 and capoxx are pretty big I'd say and already had songs that got popular on youtube, tiktok etc. there's a lot more beyond just them
i really try not to be racist against yt ppl on here but y’all be doing it to y’all selves
Carti took the whole stop breathing flow from him bro he’s the future

this is still shocking to me
carti potentially stealing hooks from unknown rappers
deko been on a really nice run this year, not the biggest fan of glitch/hyperpop but this one was stuck in my head for a week straight
i respect the message but saying that you can never talk bad about something ever is some crybaby s***
talk bad all u want, bruv. hate is empty.
as for the next wave seems like drill, hyperpop, and dmv are the biggest movements in hip hop rn. could see artists like sheff g, sebii, and xanman potentially leading and evolving the scenes in the future.
if summrs or autumn blow up i could see the experimental soundcloud style making a dope comeback too
