I have a nearly identical experience, had the aux on a short road trip with a couple girls and a male friend, and P2p (III) came on. I think they actually liked the song if I recall correctly but we couldn't stop incessantly mocking the lyrics for the rest of the ride.

my early high school/late middle school nephews love Yeat, that demo makes sense to me as his core. haven't heard anyone closer to my age (mid 20s) really mention him.

It's off topic but someone needs to look into why certain artists only translate online and some only work outside in a party/club setting. Maybe we can figure out why some artists click with ktt and become memes for us
its mainly cuz the demo is super old, loads of people hate trap here unless its from 2015 so most of the people you see complaining about the new gen are the typical kendrick fans.
