🔥 5v5 beats for this Verzuz between two Producers PER match. 1v1 beat EACH round, beats on separate posts, whoever has the most likes on said post wins the round, the person with MOST round wins out of 5 will win the match & proceed to their NEXT later match. I will POST the beats for everyone.

🔥 Send the beats to ME in DISCORD DMs or through KTT2 MESSAGES for your match. A list of 5 beats WITH their individual links. Whatever ORDER it is in is the order I will post them and assume from top to end is beat for round 1 through 5, so make SURE it's in whatever order you personally want in the message.

🔥 Make SURE your beats are uploaded to either SOUNDCLOUD or YOUTUBE. These links are the easiest & most friendly to embed on KTT2.

🔥 Beats CANNOT be less than 1:30 minutes & CANNOT be longer than 4:30 minutes. If the length rule is BROKEN under or over the time with a beat(s), then you lose that round AUTOMATICALLY, but you can still participate in the whole match still. IF, for some reason, you both break the length rule in the same round, then you BOTH will automatically lose said round - no round point for ANYONE.

🔥 EACH round in a match up will last 20 to 30 minutes to give enough TIME for listening, conversation & voting.

🔥 We WILL do 5 DIFFERENT (subject to change if spread too thin or if any issues arise) beats every match. One SET of beats for your first match, then another set of 5 beats for the NEXT & so on, if you're not eliminated of course.

🔥 AFTER the OPENING set matches, you ARE allowed to RE-USE up to TWO (2) previously used beats in ADDITION to THREE (3) new beats. ONLY 2 though, while the OTHER three (3) MUST be NEW.

🔥 IF you were in a previous VERZUZ tournament by ME & are participating in another one by me, you can re-use ANY of the beats that YOU used in the PREVIOUS tournament.

🔥 We will TRY to do at least 2 matches in a DAY, but this is subjected to CHANGE to have less matches or more matches. Depends on EVERYONE'S time, & the AMOUNT of participation & producer entries. We will get through everyone though EVENTUALLY regardless.

🔥 Matches will USUALLY start AT 1:00PM on the WEEKENDS & at 4:00PM on the WEEKDAYS my time, I live in ARIZONA USA, but times are subjected to change IF needed.

🔥 Pre-made beats & newly made beats are both ALLOWED. It does not matter when it was created, as long as it is YOUR own beat.

🔥 BOTH types of beats - sampled and non-sampled - are ALSO both allowed. Any STYLE of beat REGARDLESS of genre are also valid, including beat switches.

🔥 Beats CANNOT have an artist attached to it. Beat MUST be INSTRUMENTAL only. You can have programmed vocals & sampled based vocals as PART of the beat, but it CANNOT be a full-fledged artist song. You are DISQUALIFIED from the whole match if ANY of your 5 beats have an artist attached. ALSO no remixes OR remakes of beats that are not of your own creation, they are not allowed.

🔥 Producers match ups are CREATED by a randomizer with their KTT name. Whatever two is picked will go AGAINST each other for the full 5v5 rounds in match. The order of the Verzuz pair of who goes first to last is ALSO randomized.

🔥 Matches will START a week AFTER the thread's creation, and will last as long as needed. If you HAVEN'T sent your beats link list to me by the time YOUR match comes up, you WILL automatically lose the match.

🔥 The NEXT set of matches will happen a day after the last, such as OPENING to PRELIMINARIES to SEMIS etc. to give people some time to make their next 5 list.

🔥 IF a match ends in a TIE, then each USER will have to do a tie-breaker round for a 6th beat either THAT day, OR the next day at the LATEST to decide the official winner.

🔥 ALL producer PARTICIPANTS will be @'d in Discord & KTT2 on the day(s) of the matches an HOUR prior before STARTING & AGAIN when it STARTS.

🔥 You ARE allowed to VOTE for or against yourself.

🔥 During the DAY of matches, you CANNOT @ anyone DURING yours or ANYONE else's match for the sake of ASKING them to vote for YOU, against YOU or for/against OTHER participant's in their own matches. You WILL be disqualified ENTIRELY if this happens, because it will be seen as voting MANIPULATION & pure blatant favoritism.

I think we should do it how the ktt verzus are where each contestant posts a beat and then it’s the one with the most likes? People did a ktt1 beat battle with votes on polling sites but that just seems like an extra step

Yes i agree, likes on the post of the individual beat is how i would want it too & its more accessible.

Similar to the unofficial ktt verzuz thread where they post each track side by side in separate posts n whatever has most likes win.

Exactly. That format might actually make this be a fun thing on here where even people who aren’t competing and are just music sxn posters are in here voting and getting involved. The ktt1 ended up just kinda like the handful of producers involved were the only ones even in the thread.
