Y Tu Mama Tambien is great.
The rest of his stuff I've seen ranges from just okay to awful
Have you seen Children of Men and Roma?
Have you seen Children of Men and Roma?
Yeah. And HP and Gravity
Yeah. And HP and Gravity
You dont think Children of Men and Roma are more than just okay? Would like to know why. This thread also needs some spicy opinions
Didn’t see his first film. Y Tu Mama Tambien is a good film but it seems a bit overrated; I appreciate the social commentary. His Harry Potter film is nothing special but its visually more interesting than the previous ones. Children of Men is a masterpiece. Gravity is truly terrible. Roma is a masterpiece.
His style of shooting long shots is so cool
One of a kind
Honestly, it’s not that original. His previous films seem inspired by Mikhail Kalatozov’s style and Roma seems kinda inspired by Lav Diaz’s style. But it’s not surprising, every director is influenced by previous directors (even those who won’t admit it).
Gravity is nah
Loved Roma
Loved Azkaban
Children of Men is cool enough to work for me even though it’s got problems
Need to see Y Tu Mama Tambien
He'd have a flawless filmography if it weren't for his earlier films. Goated director w multiple masterpieces under his belt.
he made the best harry potter movie and completely set the tone for the rest of the movies
And that's FAX
whats your overall opinion or Cuaron?
i still gotta see Y Tu Mama Tambien and Little Princess, but Children of Men is one of my fav sci fis ever. Azkaban is def the best HP also. Outside of those 2, hes pretty mediocre though
he's the goat. need to rewatch gravity. y tu mama tambien is one of my all time favorites
His new show DISCLAIMER premieres on Oct 11
