ha def a fairly convincing elysia type prod to me lol not bad fam !! although elysia has spoken out on their stuff mostly not being cumbia at all for example but huayno caporales etc, it gets mistagged a lot on rym

your beat feels maybe a bit more airy and just a lil bit "off" from most of what I know as cumbia? but in a way that has charme tbh. lowkey see potential there to give it more of your own swing instead of perfecting an imitation even

but yh I'm also not at all the expert, I'm literally just some gringo and even only only fairly recently started to proper deep dive into latin dance music. but you asked for my 2 cents so here they are lol

im mexican hehe

i spent like 12 hours downloading a bunch of s*** off youtube lots of voices, intros, random sfx, and thankfully some ppl had download links to their sample packs. and then i watched some spanish ppl on fl studio make a cumbia beat thank god i can understand them.

elysia's stuff does feel more dark i was mostly inspired by unidos x la cumbia and their take on sampling, i think thats why it has that airy vibe. but ig they too were imitating elysia lol

appreciate the words
