my issue stems from the narrative that was created by that NYT report. that Kanye is being aided by trump’s election lawyers meaning he is a tool for the right to steal votes from Biden. Going by the title of this particular article, the author has bought into that theory. So then from reading it, he’s pointing out that kanye’s been meeting with Kushner. Sure, fact. But then the writer is referencing an article where 1 dude was gathering signatures at a fair and was enticing people by saying it would help trump. So from those 2 events, he’s come to the conclusion that ye’s constituency just wants chaos in November?

Yeah he mentioned margins were slim in the 2016 election, so his 2% poll rate could be decisive….but look at the polls now. Since July, Biden has at least a 4% lead and growing in Wisconsin. 6% in florida. you can’t have it both ways. You can’t tote this theory that Kanye is being used to play spoiler and ignore the numbers. Hell, in his own article he even says 1 survey shows Kanye may be taking votes away from trump more than biden….so like quit reaching with this narrative.

I dunno maybe im just nitpicking. I get triggered when someone disingenuously uses the ‘slavery sounded like a choice’ in a literal sense. And it’s sad considering the beginning of the article had a great take about the difference between being an influencer and being a teacher. Like he seemed to know what he was talking about when making those points.

Democratic portrays it self as a leftist party but last 3 candidates have been centrists. Any progressive canditate gets shut down by the Democratics. People need to stop with that mentality and hold the party accountable

How tf is Obama a centrist?
