I hesitate to share this one because it's so personal and I don't want to betray the confidence of those who let me be in the room and witness it, but here it goes:

Yet again, it was another late, sleepless night in Atlanta. The studio was packed, yet intimate all at the same time. Warm amber lights washed over exotic leather furniture, creating a dimly lit sonic oasis. A sweet aroma of weed smoke clouded the air, while vanilla scented candles were strategically placed around the room. The mood developed into a haze of relaxation. As engineers and producers methodically worked the mixing boards, Future and the rest of his entourage nodded along to a rough take of a track that would later be called "Diamonds Dancing." Many individuals in the studio danced along while producers ran the track back, but there stood Drake in a dark corner, dissecting every piece of "Diamonds Dancing" with surgical precision. The track stopped playing, and Drake stepped from the shadows. He didn't speak much, but when he did, people listened.

"I'm going back in the booth, play that outro back."

Puzzled, the engineer began playing the outro instrumental back, not questioning Drake's demands. The room fell quiet as people began to observe. As the outro began to play, Drake put on a pair of monitor headphones, rubbed his beard and began to take a drink of a dark, murky substance. Closing his eyes, Drake began to flow freely.

"You doin' me dirty, you know. How we let it get like this I don't know. But that * can't save your soul, nah." Producers and entourage members in the studio began to look around the room to see if others were witnessing what was happening. Drake continued crooning into the microphone, while the mood became even darker in the studio.

"Doing me dirty, you doing me dirty. Haven't even heard from you. How can you live with yourself? Haven't even heard from you. How can you live with yourself? Ungrateful, ungrateful." The Engineer looked over to Future with concern. The engineer whispered, "should we stop him?" Future then put up one finger, as to silence the engineer while shaking his head, not taking his eyes off of Drake.

"Your momma be ashamed of you. I haven't even heard from you, not a single word from you, Ungrateful. I'm too good for you, too good for you. You should go back to him, perfect match for you, unstable." Candles in the studio began to flicker and die out, one by one, as if a spirit swept throughout the room.

"Doing me dirty. You're making me nervous. I haven't even heard from you. You look drained, you look exhausted, girl them late nights ain't good for you. Really starting to show on you. Don't hit me up when it's good for you. Ungrateful." By now, everyone had stopped what they were doing, all attention was focused on the darkened silhouette in the recording booth. Finishing up his final thoughts, Drake hung up the headphones, took another sip of muddy water, and crept out of the recording booth.

As he came back into the studio, all eyes followed his every movement. Drake retreated back to his shadowed corner, where he leaned against the wall with his fingers interlocked and pressed against his lips, as if in deep thought. The silence of the room created an uneasy tension. The uneasiness built more and more, as studio members waited for him to speak. Finally, he broke the silence.

"Play it back."

So I’m in Cancun. Took a last minute solo trip because yolo. Had nothing to do so posted on r/Cancun, anyone in Cancun and want to hit the clubs. This shorty says she’s down. It’s a 30 something year old white lady. So we hit the beach party, shorty pays for me idk why. I’ve only been drunk like 3 times so I’m downing these bad boys like crazy, start getting drunk af. Take my shirt off, and going crazy. Had girls recording me, coming up to me, next thing I know the 30 year old is making out with me, people think she’s my girl which was cringe because she wasn’t my type. Actually I think she was lying and telling people I’m her bf. Then we leave the party, I’m drunk. Can’t go into the hotel because no guests. She sneaks in through the beach in the back, I smash her on the beach and we get caught by hotel security, they keep saying they’re calling the police. I’m shook so we go to another part of the beach. And we start smashing again and we get caught by another security from another hotel. So had to pay the hotel guy 20 bucks, was shook.

Tldr: I smashed a middle aged Reddit user and got caught

i work as a mixing engineer in atlanta and was lucky enough to work on the donda sessions (although i never went to the stadium.) one of ye's engineers had his hard drive plugged into my computer because he wants me to help him with a songs mix. he opens a folder that has 12 songs and the 4th song was titled "bordeaux_ye_drake_session" i asked him about it and he immediately cut me off by saying "shhhh" loud as f*** with his index finger in front of his lips. he sighed loud as f*** and pulled his hard drive fast as f*** out of my computer. kinda weird but i rarely think about it nowadays

So boom I’m 17 in my home ech class. I’ve been getting along with everyone in that class pretty good & it’s a mix of upperclassmen and youngins and we all got along.

That class was insane as it is, the teacher was a pushover & was barely even there. we had a kid literally pass out from huffing fumes and students had to wake him up cause the teacher was gone for so long

Anyways around the same time for weeks I would leave class to use the bathroom to meet my friends cause they left school early to go work & I’d just talk s*** with the homies before they went home

One day I decided to leave my damn cellphone in my backpack and went to hang with them

Come back to the room everyone is dead silent, not even talking to me and slight chuckles & the hottest girl in the class was saying “oh my god I’d be so emberassed if I was you” and I had no idea what was going on

several days go by and they didn’t even talk to me , finally a kid in class passed me a note explaining the whole situation

So while I was gone a lowerclassmen grabbed my phone and went through my photos and saw a picture of my d*** (not with my face tho)

She screamed and dropped the phone and everyone saw my d*** on the screen laying in the middle of the desk isles

Since my face wasn’t in it, they assumed it was another guys d*** and thought I was gay and didn’t want to talk to me because of it. I do remember one upperclassmen laughing at me saying “you gay bro” and I was oblivious to what was going on cause no was talking to me

Later the girl who grabbed my phone said “that was the first p**** I ever saw” as her excuse to why she screamed

And one girl that was giving me s*** about it ended up being my coworker years later

After all these years of hearing not to include your face in nudes never would I imagine it would make people assume I’m gay

Looking through someone else's phone while they not there is some foul s***. And they just ignored you completely because they thought you gay?? Your school was filled with weirdos

Was trying to remember some classic stories and lowkey made me sad, cos all the funny ones was like age 14-22 and realised with each year the stories are getting less and less classic

Got detained at the Canadian border because of my anxiety. In the moment it was terrifying and I was freaking out. In retrospect it’s more of a haha now and also a kind of cautionary tale .

I was going back to visit my ex again. Going back I had little anxiety because I did it before. But because the gaps between our last visit was so short and I was staying slightly longer than the first time it raised mandatory red flags. When I was finished at the kiosk and turned in my slip I got questioned as per usual but the questions were significantly more invasive than before. This threw me off and I started answering super awkwardly saying what I thought they wanted to hear vs just explaining the situation for what it was (which was the fact my ex paid for my tickets, I was helping her with a move that was looming, she was at the time living rent free and we were putting our resources together to make it work) they were mostly sus because on my income there was legit no way I was buying round trip tickets + having money to stay or whatever. Got sent into a back room with a bunch of other people. All of which were suspicious as hell. White woman who was clearly a mule for someone trying to flirt her way out of the situation. A couple of Mexican guys who didn’t speak English got in trouble for smuggling goods it seemed. 2 white guys who accidentally brought some s*** they weren’t supposed to. I think the more interesting part was just watching everyone else’s experiences while I waited for my fate. I finally get called up. Dude was super stoic in demeanor. There was no trying to make the situation more lighthearted. He kept the same expression the entire time while I explained my situation in full to him. Told him my ex was at the airport too and she was waiting for me. Her phone was s*** and she wasn’t answering. Thought I was f***ed. But I guess dude could see everything I was telling him except her not answering checked out. Overall I spent about 2 hours detained. Once he said I was clear his whole personality changed he was a lot more friendly. Told me to just stay out of trouble and enjoy myself. Almost immediately I almost f*** up when we get to her house because her neighbor drove the same car as her and I left my coffee in the car so I’m going through his car window thinking it’s her car looking mad
Suspect. Lmaooooo. Nothing happened but I found it hilarious day 1 I accidentally almost got myself into a bad spot

But anyways moral of the story if you travel internationally have your ducks in a row, never lie to BP (you can be banned forever) and you legit have 0 rights

Ok, so it was like 3 days after hs gradutation and my dad and I were posted up in Thailand.

We started the evening having some wine, hitting up strip clubs, but nothing was poppin so I went to sleep. This nigga woke me up and said "get up, I got 2 bad b****es waiting for us at the club with some bottles" so i get dressed, we head down, bribe the bouncer to let me in since I was underage and head down. Sure enough, two of the most beautiful women I've seen with two bottles of ciroc and I'm like "bet." Whole night was like a movie, takin shots, dancin choppin it up, it was lit. Drank like half of bottle to myself.

So we take them back home, my dad and his girl go to one room, me and my girl go to the other. looking at each other like I was getting ready to throw down, had the condom on and everything and then BAM.

Threw up all over the bed and passed out

When I woke up I felt like s*** bc my first hang over, then it dawned on me what actually happened and I WAS SICK. Shorty was cool about it tho, she washed my sheets, took me out to breakfast and we went to see Jurrassic World. Didn't let me f***, but still very nice outting.
