I was more partial to The Joker. But the older I got, the more I appreciated the Batman character. And I like Batman the older I get — the older I get, now more than I ever did as a - a little kid. It’s funny, the meme that..you like Batman when you’re a kid, but then when you’re an adult you like the Joker. And it’s reverse for me— now I still love the Joker, I’m still obsessed. I’m not saying one replaced the other — but, but anyway, that’s all little background s***. I didn’t wanna get on a tangent about—

But you know what I will get on a f***ing tangent about — Batman… let-let’s be a little more serious, right? Why so serious? Because this is a serious topic, okay so.. Batman, over the last 25 years — and I do mean 25 years, I’m gonna get into why it’s exactly 25 years umm.. Free, I know you’re gonna know, I know you’re gonna piece it together. Vision, I know you’re gonna piece it together. I know you guys are gonna piece it together, why it’s exactly 25 years…right? ..Umm..well, s***. 26! It’s 2022. ..why it’s 26 years, right?

Batman, over the last 26 years — or 25 and a half — has become a bit of a hollow symbol — hollow, dark symbol of coolness. He’s just.. he’s John Wick essentially now, like oh - he’s cool to watch. He’s cool to, yknow, be in violent combat with - with people. He’s this dark brooding guys who’s cool, and that’s all there is to him. And it’s justified by his numbers, and yknow sales, and merchandise, and film and all that s***.”

Healthy criticism I love Batman

Very reasonable criticisms of the franchise. Lots of great in depth response to the fallacies that are often included against the Batman series. He's right in every way that the tired storyline always ends up being the same no matter the adaption and the actors. Good a***ogies to Tim Burton's films. As well as how Batman never has a real human value to Superman.

It really does feel like an empty shell at this point.
