He really should've dropped this in 2012 tbh, it's very much continuing something MBDTF shifted, where rap can take from many genres and be something more grand. What's wild is that he already did Dinner at Tiffanys before Twisted Fantasy even came out tho. Imagining what type of impact the album could have had at the time... But I guess all the songs which did come out did inspire many artists already

I think there got to be some truth to both stories tbh. If you saw that Questlove statement I posted last page it's rly f***ed Hov was still asking him for a single, making Jay more insecure about his work performing in a marketplace, while literally already saying it's his favorite album lol.

I think there probably was label chickening and that was one thing which made him insecure about his work
