The mix is the same but the master is better. Both acts are remastered for the release but not remixed

Road to Perdition is just sampling Hov’s iconic ad libs from the beginning of the classic Nas collab Success from American Gangster. He doesn’t have a verse on it and should be pretty recognizable

Shiny Suit Theory was officially released online in the blog era and was pretty well known, but if that’s too much lore or leak adjacent it also was released on the Jay Z Jay Elec collab album A Written Testimony in 2020, which most Jay Z fans would’ve heard.

So by any stretch, nah there’s not new Jay verses here lol

Finally hearing this version of Act 2 when it leaked was maybe the last true kid like fan moments I had as music fan. And it was great to get confirmation that at the peak of his powers, he would have delivered a magnum opus. I kinda like that the album is a jewel in the rough.

The only thing I wish is that he finished Night of the Roundtable on this version but it’s one of the few mumble songs I truly love.
