im nearly done with this book "bass culture" about jamaican music from the 50s-80s its got a great section on black ark. the craziest part of the book so far was learning about how king tubby was a legit engineer when it came to modifying and inventing equipment/circuitry, literal studio wizard

true, produced by lee perry though and the black ark mix is super dubby, I listen to that mix alot
