Yeah, I feel like part of it is how many good albums she has. Because I thought about Loud City Song too.. still haven’t played Tragedy, I should listen to that today

I mean I think it was well underway by the time Bey dropped her self titled, but even if it wasn't s/t is far more of a moment for the pitchforks, etc. embracing pop than emotion. Emotion is just what sparked "Popheads".
May 22, 2020GalaxyI had that picture layout ready a long time ago but didn't get the idea for the gifs til I was already done counting (and actually had normal pictures made for the top 5). Made a lot of extra work for myself since I had to make a few of the gifs myself (not easy to find a good gif of Koz or Danny Brown pre OLD) but I think they look great. MBDTF was the hardest cause I had to make sure the cover properly looped with the picture
bro i didn't even notice there was a gif on the album itself that's flames. Pitchfork gotta hire you for their album roll out in 2030.
