Rules:
Pick every game
Each win worth one point
Push worth 0
For the Super Bowl you have to also predict the final score to serve as a tiebreaker
Thoughts ?

@Mamba
Was push worth 0.5 before? anyway yeah thats fair - changing a push to be worth 0 or 1 point actually does nothing though in terms of standings. since we have to pick each game, you could make a push worth 500 points and it wouldnt impact the actual standings since every single person will get the same score for that game.
with that being said, why not keep at 0.5 then for legacy purposes and as a way to compare to regular season.
everything else is cool - super bowl tiebreaker with the score makes sense as well, but how do you define closest final score? and presumably this would only be for the couple teams that could win the prize going into the SB
That Canadian conversation hurting my wallet
the cost of living in a country without terrorists. other than @ImFeelingLucky
@MyNight are you in for the playoff with the plebs contest? or you sticking to just your showdown with papi

Ok we can count the pushes
For the sb if the leaders pick the same team then whoever is closest to the actual final score wins. (Difference between guess and actual score for both teams )

I just did lots of research on the subject and it is different between every company that runs a contest so there is no standard way really. The two most common are either cumulative total or individual team total.
Example:
Final Score: Buccs 30 Chiefs 24
Prediction 1: Buccs 20 Chiefs 17
Prediction 2: Buccs 24 Chiefs 18
Prediction 1 overall total is 37
Prediction 2 overall total is 42
Actual final game total was 54. Prediction 2 wins due to having closer total.
But there are lots of ways to do it including individual team difference. In that case, Prediction 1 difference was (30-20 + 24-17 = 17), Prediction 2 difference was (30-24 + 24-18 = 12). So prediction 2 still wins.
Pick either one im cool with both.
@JANGLE also change the payout deadline. you made it dec 28. suggest changing it to January 24th instead (good chance we have a winner that day)
Think the easiest is cumulative score.
We should also pick the winner of the SB for a second tiebreaker incase the cumulative score is the same for two people

I like the idea of using the difference between both totals more
I had to contact support to get it changed and they changed the date to 1/9
big jangle energy

so option #2 from the example above right? im cool with that

shut up you ignorant s***. just cause they dont teach you how to do math in canada, doesnt mean we have to stoop down to your basic level of supercontest
