FriesGeorge Lucasing a movie is only acceptable if it's to replace the dummy in the Casino opening scene, I would pay extra money for a better-looking version of that

Marty only half despises Belfort, he sees his shortcoming but also the fact that bro led a pretty awesome life.
Another perfect example is American Psycho. Bret Easton Ellis despises the character but also loves him. It’s never full satire.
It’s the reason why Napoleon didn’t work. Ridley Scott had absolutely no interest in Napoleon Bonaparte and despised him, that’s why you get a truly uninteresting piece of Satire.
I think it’d be hard to make a movie of someone you hate. Like how comedians do bad impressions sometimes when they have nothing but contempt for their subjects. We’re on a Kanye site. He’s a pretty destructive force, but there’s something beautiful about experiencing this movie. It’s like the Famous video. But you have to be careful, cause you have to draw a line somewhere.
