    There some good rappers but most of them do need to hone their writing skills

    West was dormant for a while but always a sleeping giant when Kendrick is around

    Ehhh, NY never really embraced NJ or Philly like that unless they're signed to and/or strongly affiliated with NY acts(State Property, Meek Mill, Redman).

    A lot of NY rappers grew up or stay in North Jersey this isnt fully true. Jay put Philly on way back when but its time for a reconnection

    It’s combination of lyrical rappers that can’t make songs and rappers that can make songs but can’t rap

    Their needs to be more a fusion between the two
