WESLEYS THEORYI went with Jay as my premier artist after seeing him beat Wayne but I honestly think I should’ve gone with Big. Both Hypnotize and Juicy washed.

Idk man tbh I think anyone could’ve won based off the last 3 rounds.
It was a very very close game.
People thought the south was gonna dominate and they ended up winning by an inch.

Party Up is undeniably one of DMX’s biggest hits and I was trying play nukes every round. It still got a decent amount of votes.
I wanted to show Philly and female hip-hop artists some love by playing Eve, since she is an East Coast artist. Dr. Dre produced the beat, but he also produced songs on GRODT which has a distinctively east coast flare.
Big L deserved atleast 1 round and Put It On is his biggest song. I didn’t care if it lost or it was a fumble, he deserved to be recognized.

You know how hated Swizz is around here. Party Up wasn't going to win unless it was a round where there were at least to duds. Eve had two strikes against her and neither one of them had anything to do with the quality of the song. Big L is a hometown hero for me and the rest of Harlem, but he's always been underrated. You can say the same for DJ Quik.
