Retrospect for Life, Go & The Light not winning is just ridiculous.
I can sort of understand Retrospect for Life considering it’s not one of his biggest songs but it’s certainly one of his best. Be Intro not winning was also just ridiculous.
What I learned from this is it’s probably best to just put artists from the same era together because people just don’t know the older and less known songs. I’m happy I did though

It’s my favorite Common song and although I usually base my set lists around the most popular songs and features from an artist, I made a personal exception for that song because I love it so much. Seeing it lose hurt but I had a feeling it would.
