John Lennon has a weird rap these days. Yeah he hit Cynthia once which was a piece of s*** thing to do and overall was not an amazing person, but musically he was a genius. Weird that people get so morally righteous about it.

I hope they eventually click but I understand trying to get into a band late and it not clicking with me at all. That's how I felt about Queen for years. The Beatles were always played in my household growing up

i didn't listen to the beatles till i was like 12 or 13 tbh. my parents werent fans of them and i went out of my way to check out their albums at the library just to listen because my broke ass couldn't afford their albums, and they weren't on streaming yet
