This album really delivered on my first listen, but quickly soured afterwards. It does not have the longevity of any other Drake album, and is genuinely too long. 6/10 for me. Some pretty underwhelming production on side A too.

But I know there's some die hard fans of this album out there, I wonder what they like about it

Lmao nah actually I just did 25 songs minus 5.5 songs I don’t like divided by 25 which gave me 7.8/10

Overhated project, but it is bloated. There’s a great album in there for sure.

Hot take: this album is heavily slept on in terms of longevity.

So many of these songs are filled with raw, untapped emotion, and we've never really heard Drake open up in this sort of way previously. This album set an entirely new tone for Drake, and only further cemented his spot atop the game.

I truly believe that this was Drake's most creatively "free" album; he was focused so much more on crafting an artistic vision that allowed us insight into his life, as opposed to just "dropping some heat."

I believe that was the case before the Pusha T diss. I think OG scorpion was a better album than what we got based on the leaks from that time.

Asides from Jaded, Emotionless and March 14, I don't really see what tracks you could be referring to.

3/24 is not a good ratio for a Drake album as far as raw emotional tracks. I can't imagine this being Drake at his most creatively free. If we're talking big albums with a lot of chunes More Life had way more vigor and experimentation, and if we're talking raw bodies of work NWTS and IYRTITL stomp this.

So where exactly does Scorpion stand out?

Cant say for creative setup of this album but Drake surely is better as technician/melodicist on Scorpion
