Is the album in your Top 1/5/10 list of best Rap albums OAT? (1/5/10/No) I’ll say top 10
Obviously groundbreaking but over the years it’s gotten boring and bland to me compared to the rest of his albums. Also Chance the Rapper using the sound in such a terrible and consistent way probably hurt it’s legacy unfortunately. Also too many interludes. 9/10
instant classic. was introduced to this album by my cousins with the freshmen adjustment tapes

Not in top 10 OAT
The College Dropout deserves a lot of acclaim as Kanye’s debut album, it was already really honest and had a lot of personality, great concept, and creativity.
Musically I think he peaked later. I still enjoy the high pitched soul samples but some of the songs sound dated. It’s actually not in my top 10 but I understand people who consider it the best rap album of all time.
