    Obviously groundbreaking but over the years it’s gotten boring and bland to me compared to the rest of his albums. Also Chance the Rapper using the sound in such a terrible and consistent way probably hurt it’s legacy unfortunately. Also too many interludes. 9/10

    The College Dropout deserves a lot of acclaim as Kanye’s debut album, it was already really honest and had a lot of personality, great concept, and creativity.

    Musically I think he peaked later. I still enjoy the high pitched soul samples but some of the songs sound dated. It’s actually not in my top 10 but I understand people who consider it the best rap album of all time.
