I think I chose Cudi, but tbh Kanye deserves it. He did most of the work behind the scenes to ensure the production flowed seamlessly & were tailored to really make Cudi’s hooks & melodies shine. Also, he had stellar verses

It's definitely hip hop. It has influence from other genres, but hip hop is a broad sound that uses most other genres.

It's got 4th Dimension, Reborn, Cudi Montage and opens with a Pusha T verse lol.

I just don’t think typical hip hop fans f*** with ksg much. At least not as much as to put in their top 50 best hip hop albums of all times.

yeah of course but it's still a hip hop album. There are some albums made by rappers that influence hip hop but aren't hip hop like 808s and The Love Below, but I think KSG is mostly hip hop songs. Maybe if Kanye didn't have his verses on there it wouldn't be, but I think most of Kanye's music is hip hop tbh

gave best performance to Cudi just cuz he had overall more runtime and presence with songs like Reborn. would have loved some harmonies from Kanye on the back end of that song like how when they performed at CFG
