Crazy how the top 2 Kanye songs are back to back on the same album

hey, i’ve warmed up to Selah, and God Is is easily the best song on Jesus Is King, but jeez man. i didn’t realize people liked them that much. not even top 120 kanye songs to me. wouldn’t even consider them in the running

Late Reg is really disrespected on this list. Not sure how there are 45 songs better than We Major. And songs like Heard Em Say and Late don’t even make it on the list? Idk that’s just my opinion tho

Also feel like JIK KSG and TLOP to some extent all got some boosts from recency bias. Saint Pablo wouldn’t be nearly this high for me, Waves feels too high as well.

Saint Pablo is great...you guys have reverse recency bias against the newer albums including TLOP.. saint Pablo is the quintessential Kanye song..you get to know all about him on that one track.

Just because an album is new doesn't mean you have to hate it....you guys have hard-ons for the first trilogy.....but as much as they were perfect albums...if we look at tracks one by one..... the 2nd trilogy and newer albums have higher highs

seems like you're kind of responding to my post, so I'll say that I most certainly do not hate any of the new albums and if anything i'm actually biased towards them bc i was actually a kanye fan when they released unlike everything before yeezus. I love ye and ksg, and tlop is probably 3 or 4 in my album rankings.

I get where you're coming from about saint pablo, it is great and lyrically it's one of the best and most honest songs he's ever written. it doesn't do as much for me sonically as many of his other songs though so personally i wouldn't put it that high but i get why others do.

I do think waves, wolves, and nmpila (as well as the two JIK songs) are all too high on this list tho and a lot of that is recency. but at the end of the day its all just an opinon

This top 50 is odd to me but i didn't vote anyway. i don't feel like this would sum up ye's discography as 50 songs tho tbh

nmpila i kinda get because of how good his verses is and i'd make it top 100.
but wolves and waves going top 100 is crazy let alone top 50. i feel like it's the way the voting system worked tho cos if you were giving your top 3 there's lots of songs i'd have really high that aren't even on the list that wouldn't make my top 3

What are JIK songs doing in this list? Where’s White Dress?

Other than that, pretty respectable list. I would’ve switched Runaway and Devil in a New Dress though.

I wonder is in the 10/10 song tier and I dont understand some of these songs voted ahead of it either.

Okay cool...waves definitely does not belong in top 100...from TLOP I could pick ULB and saint Pablo...though I still do feel like it's the most accessible Kanye album and also the most enjoyable. However the run from 808's to Yeezus is Kanye's best to me.
There is something special with TLOP that probably happens with all Kanye albums, it's aging so we'll, too well infact more than any other Kanye album has aged. In 2016, I hated that album, but now it's like if I want to listen to Kanye randomly, I go to it. It has Kanye vibes of each and every era, both past, present and future of Kanye. I do pray ye and Jik age that well.
