If you decide to hold off on G-unit cuts you'd be able to use those for a future verzuz if you decide to do it again. 50 is one of those artists that can battle a few times because of how large and varied his disocgraphy is when you count loosies, mixtape cuts, features, etc.

Na that’s a fact we need gunit vs Lox or dip next so I’m gonna save those lmao

  • get up with me

As I’ve gotten older I appreciate The Massacre a lot more than I did when I was a kid. 50 on these type of beats is flawless.

50 over soulful production was always perfection.

You know G-Unit would absolutely wash both groups but KTT does have a bias. I'd be willing to represent Dipset but only if there's rules that way it's not a total landslide. No more than 5 songs per solo artist.

RIP Proof, one of the illest ever

The history behind this song is trippy. I think anybody that heard this in 98 knew 50 was destined for stardom.

I remember when Wanksta came out and his hype was out of this world man.. that’s when I discovered Power of the Dollar. I couldn’t believe how dope he was back then. I don’t think hip hop will ever experience anything like that ever again.

I’m not familiar with the story though, very interested in it.

Yes, Lox vs Mobb Deep. I have Mobb for sure but you can always switch it up for a different group just in case you wanted to make it duos like Gangstarr, M.O.P., Dogg Pound, CNN, EPMD, etc.

I think a G-unit, Dipset & Lox triple threat would be cool too.

It's always a good feeling when you go back and realize that there's just more heat to dive deep into.

"It is rumored that the song and the subsequent music industry blacklisting of 50 Cent by Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff and his associates led to the murder of Run DMC's Jam Master Jay. There is speculation that Jay ignored the blacklisting by mentoring the young 50 Cent and introducing him to the people in the music industry. According to an affidavit by IRS agent Francis Mace, law enforcement officials believed that the shooting of 50 Cent in 2000 was in retaliation for the lyrics of the song which detailed the history of The Supreme Team.3

"Ghetto Qur'an" served as a basis for 50 Cent's rivals (mainly Ja Rule, Irv Gotti and the Murder Inc. music group, with whom he was feuding at the time) labeling him a snitch. 50 Cent mentioned in an AllHipHop.com interview that the song was appreciated. He also talked about how Nas' song "Get Down" from the album God's Son similarly mentions names, but few people consider anything wrong with it"

Man Gangstarr would be dope but I’ve genuinely never seen them as a group get love on here, can’t even remember if I’ve ever even seen Guru’s name pop up. I’ve still got the Lox though, especially if we can go off and do solo s***. Jada and Styles discographies are amazing. Sheek is aight too but he’s the black sheep of the group

Yeah, not sure how this came about either. @Mmm_Hmm it's good to see that anybody can represent who they want but the stans are the ones that'll throw curveballs and make it even more interesting.

There's only 3 threads about Gangstarr here and they're all dead af and didn't even make it past page 1. I think the Lox would be good but like I said you can't go beyond 5 songs per solo artist.

We need to make that happen

Confident 50 could win without pulling out a single grodt track

Mandatory. I could put together a rough setlist right now without even going through my Mobb Deep archive. They have a career full of standouts.
