@early @Kdogone do u guys have any thoughts on the new nas preemo album?

i like it a lot. people are saying the beats are bad but i disagree. no its not an album full of bangers like 'Nas is Like' but the production is smooth and nas did a good job with the songwriting.

its a let down based on all of the old classic premier beats we think of but i think its a victim of its own hype. its a very good nas album with good production IMO. its in the same quality range as the nas-hit collabs (not sure where i rank it exactly in comparison to those but its comparable in quality IMO)

All 6 Hit-Boy albums are better. The Preem beats on the De La Soul album are better than anything on Light Years.
Dust heads were hating on Hit cause Nas wasn’t doing their fantasy one producer albums only for the Preem album to be viewed as underwhelming and not have as much buzz as the King’s Disease/Magic trilogies.
I think me and @Hndrxx_Free scared Early off from listening for himself

i said it in the album thread but this album is so cozy to me. i'm enjoying it a lot and find it easily playable from start to end, despite the fact that none of the beats are all time preemo beats
