MissingnoI can’t believe y’all are having the same discussion with Dawn FM as you guys did with Heartless vs. Blinding Lights. Cause I’m sure the end result will be the same:
• Low initial sales cause the music is inspired by a different time period (80s) and America is addicted to 808s
• It catches on with the global community first cause the music itself is actually good
• America plays catch up on music they disregarded at first bc they didn’t like it until they saw that the rest of the world liked it
This argument better be deaded when dawn doesnt end up being as big as AH in a few months.

Nah, it's been a issue when Stans (mostly Drake stans) make it their only argument to how good an album is.
Sales = Popularity/Attention/Quantity.
Sales =/= Creativity/Fresh/Quality.
I have never been in any of the Sales Threads, but to see how corny a lot of these niggas circlejerking over how much their fav artist is selling, it's completely wack that this is becoming the main topic of discussion. Time for mods to make a SXN, this is wack af bruh.
