I noticed all the smileys are geared toward negativity/hot takes and this could be contributing toward a more toxic site experience.

There’s a lack of positive smileys that were abundant on ktt1.

I challenge you to count how many can be used in a positive context.

What happened to :h5:  :happyhug: :golfclap: :ridin: :banjo: :yar:

Those are just old examples and we could surely get more modern ones to take their place. The choice of smileys available has a lot to do with the way users interact with the site.

There’s 10 different ways to say scust but only a couple ways to show solidarity with someone.

I just tried to send someone a hug in a thread where people were feeling alone and couldn’t find an appropriate smiley.

    Let’s work on this.
