Not only internet tho. For a lot of people it always was normal to be racist. Cause they too dumb to s***, ignorant, grew up with racist parents and thought it was ok or because they're simply evil

Social media just shows opinions of people you normally dont know of

I would say there’s a middle ground here where a lot social conditioning happens as these people grow up to harbor these racist views and the internet can be a place where they can put themselves in a certain bubble where those views become far more radical then it maybe would have been intentionally
