this. pretty much every woman I know has had something happen to them, yet only one or two actually had anything done about it. s*** is super underreported and therefore normalized/ignored by those who don't experience it. and yes it's not "all men" but I feel like at least 95% of us have engaged in rape culture to some degree. I know there's things from when I was 13-18 that I def look back at as wrong. doesn't make you evil but it's conditioning that must be dealt with.

probably at the most minor level it would be conversations that sexualize girls/women. idk about you but when I was in middle school and high school it wasn't uncommon for guys to talk about girls they wanted to f***, their ass/boobs, sometimes s***-shaming or implying that some girls were "easy". while obviously sexual attraction is natural, especially at that age, I feel like these kind of conversations were very normalized as just part of what it means to be a man instead of creepy.
more extreme instances that I witnessed in HS include sharing of a girl's nudes or guys taking pictures of girls without their permission.

Yep. Niggas act stupid when you say speak up when you see some like they don’t be peeping what be going on. When you see your mans in the bar/club getting free feels when passing by, speak up, when you see a shorty getting disrespected because they dubbed ya mans, check him. When he gossiping and showing things that’s not supposed to be public, put him in line etc. niggas act like it’s so hard to hold men accountable for f*** s***. They got every excuse in the book for why they don’t wanna speak up to defend a woman but will look for any reason to defend a man against women when they notice some f*** s***. Men are scared of other men and I’m sticking to that.
