Revisiting to looking for america and it makes me so happy we now have lake placid. I think earthquakes is my favourite of the songs Lana never released. It’s very atmospheric. I hope some day zodiac finally emerges it’s my most wanted for now I am making a comp of most finished songs / loosies I am very impressed with how it turned out so far. I will return when I finally listen to did you know that there’s a tunnel under ocean Blvd. I heard the title track.
Side note Lana with a huge win releasing say yes to heaven.

So I’ve been going through her whole discography one album a week for the past couple weeks and it’s my first time really going through her music sequentially like this
Gotta say I was pretty blown away. I’ve always loved her albums when I listen when a new one drops. But listening to them collectively for the first time was kinda mind blowing. Really put it in perspective just how gifted she is, and how extremely consistent the quality of her work is — right up there with The National and Beach House for most consistent album quality in the last decade or two. Born to Die would be the only one where I’d say the quality of the lyrics is a bit inconsistent quality wise. The range of diversity in her music was also extremely surprising.
