I thought most people liked her music because of the production
I didn't listen to the last 1 I have no idea what it sounded like
you're right. the main draw of her music was always production. the critics never bought into it though.
don't know why a good image of this was so hard to track down lol but this was the first cover shot for NFR and i remember lana saying her management turned it down. i imagine the goodwill she gained with NFR allows her to have even more creative freedom than before.
I feel like this will sound exactly like NFR but just slightly not as good
How can you tell that? She's only released one song off it and it sounds nothing like what's on NFR.

good this is horrible

they actually did her a favor lol
Yeah, I looked at her IG post and looked at the tracklist cover and it matches the front cover so I guess that's the actual cover. She's been talking about this album for months now. It was meant to drop in September but she delayed it. I'm sure she's eager to put it out and start working on the next thing (that's if she hasn't already, knowing her).
oh yeah she posted it on ig, it's a wrap lmao
it's ugly to me but i respect the integrity

Because it’s all with Jack antonoff again (which i loved so I’m not hating)
And the one song she released was a piano ballad that easily could’ve slipped into NFR, didn’t really have any aspects that would’ve made it stick out
But I guess it sounded a bit more live, in the room and raw than NFR
so already rebuked that sound in one her rants. shes not going back
Really? What did she say about it

She ended up using it, but as the alternate vinyl cover. Seems like she's always wanted an album cover with multiple women. Glad the label finally let her have her way.
lol so this never captured you?
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJABBmAMXnYI meant the newest album sounds boring from what you described
I like some Lana Del Rey songs
Really? What did she say about it
paraphrasing here but she said she had to compromise herself to get ppl who didnt like her to like her music with NFR. and she’s done doing that
lol so this never captured you?

I agree the song does sound like old Lana circa 2014, but Jack Antonoff is a talented producer who works off of what his clients ask from him. If she has a different creative vision from what she's done with him in the past, he'll be able to give her the soundscape she wants.

it's a real snoozefest, with the exception of a few highlights, but honeymoon was by far her most cinematic album and that s*** was a complete sleepwalker

I've listened just once but her new single still sounds like that

She told the label "I am getting my girlies on the cover this time!! 💋"
