Lana can’t miss, I can’t even deny. She really did so well. She put this album out so you take time to Understand it. Your not going to understand this after one listen.
Is it just me or is the album sounding better? Everything sounds better to me today than it did on Friday lol.

She deserves her flowers. She's really blessed up with so much beautiful music over the years and I love how her sound is entirely hers. She doesn't sound like anyone else and she's inspired so many female singers.

80/100 on metacritic from 30 review is crazy. Many albums that have a higher score only have about 13 or 15 reviews. F*** sputnikmusic for giving her 30/100.
yeah. don't know if you've listened to the album but i'm talking about the way she delivers the line, and lana's delivery in general when i say that's why i love her.
obviously reading the line by itself isn't a thrill.

her melodies be f***in me up
what's your top 3 so far?

only had 3 listens so far, but my favs are def the title track, Wild at Heart, and For Free. For Free sounds like a lost folk/Americana classic deep cut from the 70s, and i love it
my fav too
a couple other moments where the delivery is really sticking with me are the chorus of Yosemite ("we did it for the riiiiiiiiiiiiight reasons"
) and the entirety of White Dress. lol

lol makes sense, when Weyes Blood comes in the song starts screaming Joni.
but never heard this album, just thought the song was another familiar sounding Lana track
i love that she's finally found other artists that she sees as counterparts and building a community with. she always would speak about that as one of her desires
zella day, weyes blood, nikki lane, jack, FJM. the OGs like stevie and courtney love
that's why "i'll keep walking on the sunny side" from dance till we die is one of my favorite lyrics on the album. it seems like she was in a really good place when writing this and i hope it stays that way.

it's not my fav joni album but definitely worth a listen if you're into her
