Honestly, after feeling half her last album was boring, I expected her to drop something cooler.

I want something fun like Let Me Love You Like A Woman, Chemicals Over The Country Club or White Dress.

yeah i get that. i just think she's more concerned with what she's saying than how it's presented and the aesthetic these days. she's really in her songwriter bag. it shows in how autobiographical and observational she's gotten lately.

Yeah, but this is music, not a book, it should be a bit fun. That last album is a pain in the ass to listen to. I don't want another one like that.

i'm sure we'll get those moments on the album. she hasn't even promoted these yet so i think it's probably just some warm-up tracks she decided to dump.
