BTD was good for its time. It has aged horribly. I respect your opinion though! Maybe you should look into an artist named Halsey if you enjoy BTD that much!

lol you play too much. halsey's debut was heavily influenced by lana though. absolutely dreaded it then and would probably hate it more now tbh

it really is. I'd rather go with what I like instead of what the critic's say is her best work. honestly, introducing a novice this early to honeymoon would be a disaster.

your logic is so odd. No one is liking honeymoon because the critics like it. just because you hate it doesnt mean others do

    Born To Die
    Ultraviolence
    Norman F***ing Rockwell
    Paradise
    Honeymoon
    Lust For Life

    No bad albums imo

  • Honeymoon
    Born To Die
    Ultraviolence
    Paradise
    Lust For Life

Haven't properly listened to NFR yet. HM and BTD are interchangable, depending on my mood. Ultraviolence is great, the first 5 tracks are peak Lana but the tracks after West Coast are just OK. Just doesn't stick to me as the first 5 and the songs on HM and BtD

I swear I haven't been able to get through NFR and I'm a huge Lana fan. It's just so slow and less cinematic than her other projects

It is a huge change, being cinematic was a big part of her thing

NFR is Lana's most inconsistent album. If she just said "fuck it", ditched the sad girl formulaic s*** (the second half of the album) and gave us folky psychedelia like Venice B**** and Mariners Apartment Complex the whole way through it would've been a fresh breath of air, but sadly, that's not what we got.

    UV, BTD, NFR for me

I was so excited to see her at Coachella I’ve been in love with this b**** for like 8 years now

  • NFR - magnum opus
    Ultraviolence - amazing, cult classic
Born To Die - classic, game changer
Lust For Life - slept on, could've been cut by a few songs
Honeymoon - not my favorite Lana but I appreciate the effort
Paradise (Ride and American are great)

we waiting on the poetry book and 6th solo QUEEN

Given Honeymoon multiple listens now, but its not really hitting for me. It sounds pretty and almost dreamlike, but it doesn't grab my attention at all. Not many standout moments or melodies to me. I f*** with The Blackest Day and Swan Song, but thats at the end of the record lol. With lack of a better word I would say its boring. Not bad tho, but nothing eargrabbing to me. Happy I finally listened to it tho.

Gonna go back to Lust for Life next to see how I like it. I did listen to it when it dropped, but I didn't give it a proper listen so I need to do that. I have listened to Love and the Lust for Life (song) alot, but excited to see how I feel about the rest now.

I see, a ton of people dont like it due to the peacefulness of the record. Some would call it boring i guess.
