Cloud atlas pretty close to book they collaborated with the author who is writing matrix 4 and who wrote cloud atlas

Most people still consider speed racer a simple corny movie. I think the look and tone of the movie was too much for people at the time and people were most likely expecting a grittier take.

Speed Racer. The reason I never checked it out was cause I thought it was a corny kids movie and the reviews were bad.

yes, more gritty and edgier. this was the same year we had Iron Man and The Dark Knight plus the Wachowskis just came off of The Matrix sequels & V For Vendetta. The last thing anybody expected was for them to make a movie that kept the tone or the original series.

Meh, it was hot garbage. You could tell Lana and Lily had bigger plans for the show but they were forced to wrap things up in the most anti-climatic way.

Yahya begins training even more. Yes there are rumors he is Young Morpheus but damn Young Morpheus in crazy shape. There are also some who think he is the future one. I am sad that I just realized the original Oracle died during filming of Reloaded. I hope Don Davis comes back for the soundtrack. Would also love a new Rage Against the Machine song as the closer for this movie.

When Sense8 even on a platform like Netflix challenged convention, when Cloud Atlas exist and this is the writer of the Cloud Atlas novel. When they know damn well Lana Wachowski wouldn't return to a piece of art which in many ways nearly took her life because she was so depressed during making of sequels and feared coming out as a trans individual or even having to deal the the media. So much so that neither of the sisters talked to the media for an entire decade

Lana going to feed us. The only doubt I have is hoping that they don't have a bunch of other directors adding to universe like the rumored Zak Penn project unless overseen by Lana.

exactly! why would she return to this series if she didn't have something truly interesting to add, Lana is not just some industry hack who will make anything for a buck, she has basically spent every film since the end of the matrix being a polarizing visionary along side Lilly so there is no way that she would come back to the matrix without something truly interesting to add

Lilly is taking a break from it as she did with Sense8 season 3 and finale as well. I still have confidence. Lana has never just been like "I will take a check" nor would she with her most well known property. My only fear if anything is trying to completely appease those that hated the sequels but I think it will go farther into its weirdness while also revolutionizing action. It truly has potential to be the best Matrix yet with all the changes in technology since between phones, surveilance state, drones, police and everything that comes along with it. The nice part about the Matrix is that it likes to show a society and let us think for ourselves rather than walk us through literally every detail which is why many blockbusters recently have been struggling. Hopefully it’s well written. It’ll look great as usual but man the story’s and themes gotta b on point.

Rumors all over the place with some saying that the Matrix Trilogy exist as a videogame in Matrix 4. Others saying that Young Morpheus is in it and Neo and Trinity uploaded themselves to the code before dying. Reports are all over the place but nothing truly official until the trailer drops. I will say Jada Pinkett Smith and many main cast are returning. I think they want all the surprises to be for the first trailer moment. However Production begins in San Fransisco in February with rumors of Chicago production as well so who knows.
