based on the time leaps and some gaps from summary I read I 100% think whether they continue with more movies or not they should have done or should do animatrix 2 because fans have so many questions and animatrix 2 would have been perfect during this time to get the best anime creators that are fans. S*** even Kojima to write a short. Then it all feeds into movies plot. Essentially a cinematic universe marvel style but the connectors are games and anime. Either way if we get a game or anime we win.
