Yeah I think both of them got bad reviews. I didn’t hate it, I just want something like the original film with today’s technology. Idc who makes it either. I just feel like the alien universe could be used to do so much more.

That part where the alien is showing its teeth with the smoke and drool coming out would just be a lazy and fake looking cgi effect if done today
