I mean its definitely divisive still ( I have peeked at those who have seen it in Japan and Thailand). If people go in expecting a serious action movie they will be disappointed. But the many of us that get its a meta, rom com about grief, nostalgia and sequels are in for a treat. Do I think Backlava would like this or those dead set on certain aspects they liked about the matrix? No. Can I be mad at them for it? No. But I dont really feel like Resurrections has in anyway shape or form marketed itself as 'just another matrix'
