Lowkey even though a lot of ppl already enjoyed it, this could be one of those situations where it grows on ppl over time. Obviously some already have their minds made up but it wouldn't surprise me if ppl warmed up to later down the road.

Nah I think you’re right. Idk if it’s just America or not but a lot of people seem to only want movies like that. My friend said Dune was too confusing for him. He literally only watches marvel and star wars movies too. I need some friends irl who like different movies lmao.

Americans are such a dumb crowd. They want easy-watch movies with over the top animation, action, surreal creatures and explosions and sprinkle a couple stale plottwists in there and a cool villain with a cool name and suit and voila…

These mac-n-cheese sweating creatures will legit eat it up 10000 times with slightly different versions

i think this is true for every large crowd, i mean we live in a world where dudes roll up just to hate and change their usernames to reflect that. it makes sense that studio's are terrified to try anything new. i personally hate it, and feel like culture has gotten 1000x stupider because of it. but you have people who genuinely think that a trans allegory about what the self means in an age where we have to perform our own simulations of self, doesn't work. cause. not good action.

But in like 6 hours my screening will be finish and I’m going to be honest but to be clear I’m expecting action punching wise at least to be s***. Story and commentary on reality I do have expectations that it doesn’t feel like a bad episode of black mirror but if it does I’m gonna be honest cause some episodes of black mirror great others trash
