yeah i guess the weird thing to me always is that it seems like people react with derision when faced with the unknown. Like i havent seen something like this before i.e. i hate it etc
that's the Matrix effect bro, a curious mind is a dangerous one
Star Wars so overrated but after them viewers still like “ this the new Star Wars “ cause of hey chasing the high of when they first saw Star Wars or raimi movie
I’ll admit i got way more respect for a SW or LotR then any Marvel movie though
Exactly. Its usually americans ive noticed. Basking in their ignorance around a tougher subject, like it’s some badge of honor. Crazy thing is they get credit for it too from their peers… which is crazy to me. Atleast in Europe there is a culture to avoid superficial readings and stunts to sell an artwork. We got more of a history of constructive debates around whatever. In america commercialism and marketing literally trumps every sane logical incentive. Truly a theme park of a country.
yeah we are the arbiters and avatars of capitalism, so it makes sense that people are the most brainwashed over here

original star wars trilogy, theres a lot to love there, and if you're into film history theres definitely a lot of cool s*** to explore. the prequel series are just funny but i love them cause i saw them when i was 6. and the disney trilogy is like watching a corpse float down a river
he said ”fuck”
is this the last one or do we have confirmation for another one?

I’ve seen enough of the og material to understand that this is true. That same love is nowhere to be found in these modern cashgrab movies
Before this thread i would’ve never expected people to defend marvel movies while calling this a cashgrab. Talk about irony
Man I’m watching it right now and I feel like this movie is completely unnecessary. Just watching because right now

yeah dude people calling this a cash grab and then saying the 10 th spider-man in 20 years is a loving homage to the character, make me feel absolutely insane

lmao like that guy who keeps telling us he neo'ed us , holy s*** bro like get a life
feels like they faced budget issues before production even started
I mean that’s partly true but when I said budget was too low for scope and all the places and sets they wanted to film I got jumped . Filming all over expensive in a pandemic
