it’s a pretty faithful adaptation it just reads in kind of a tolkien style, so the prose washes over you more. tho some of the weirder racist parts are more prevalent. but it’s a book from the 60s so it depends on where you fall on that issue

what do you see as the whole humans are batteries thing? Thomas Anderson was a programmer in the first and he is a programmer in this one, he's helped create the same world that imprisons him, his energy is programming, so he created the modals
