Your ends to the means is different than mine. I'm not concerned with the character hierarchy written in the film. My issues is how compromised the film is overall and that starts with the spiritual aspect of the prior matrix's that are nonexistent in this film. That portion impacts the rest of the film.

The film should be growing in knowledge, not being watered down.
If you focus on the characters alone that's on you & I can't argue that.

I do think the budget did go up due to filming in covid and shutdowns etc but if Lana nearly considered not even finishing the movie and they had to change a cheaper cinematographer due to john toll family covid scare that makes no sense
