Had Lana not fumbled the action so bad I feel like it woulda gotten received at least as well as the other sequels if not better still to this day can't wrap my head around how badly Lana fumbled the action budget, the other sis must ve put in WORK in the trilogy

It's literally the selling point. Sure there's plenty of fans genuinely interested in the lore of the Matrix. But the masses are just tryna see some cool action. I'm sure most people, myself included, thought a modern day Matrix would go crazy in that aspect.

And they should have with new cast. I also think Animatrix 2 and game were planned in some form. S*** I honestly think Animatrix 2 would have done better than the movie in all ways and wanted that especially when you look at success of like Cyberpunk

Again you really do have to account for Covid and Lana wasn't so much the action oriented one. If you watch Sense8 season she did without her sister you see that. She was more the feels one

Movie does start off saying its not going to be that though lol so I see both sides even though I wish it was more cohesive overall

There will never be another Matrix moment though that was part of what I took out of it

like technology has advanced so much but still there is only one bullet time

many imitators but there is only one Matrix and revolutions really did complete the story as many of us guessed there is no logical way to bring back the characters and revive them that doesnt in some way take away from original trilogy

I wish it went just well enough to see where Lana head space was at and reasoning for some of decisions just because I am curious

I'm just glad Lana got to do Resurrections because we already know WB will reboot the film in fan service-y fake prestige way and give us 10 spin offs for HBOMax. They were really pushing for a Morpheus prequel with MBJ lol

This is what I have been saying. Everyone who hated what this is will get exactly what they want soon enough. I just want animatrix 2 because I really think they could do a lot with it. Live action too limited now. Game would be cool too depending on who makes it
