It really isn’t the student’s job. The students’ job is there to learn, that’s it. It’s technically not even the teacher’s job to stop these incidents. Maybe they should start implementing security guards in every school

It’s Vegas, not the whole state. lol. The state would take about 8 hours to travel through by vehicle. The district encompasses the entire county. It’s too large to focus their efforts on the whole student body.
I’ve seen some crazy s*** growing up there. It’s why my kids aren’t growing up there.
LVHS where this took place is mostly in a poorer area now. And they get a lot of the unruly people. Avoid Eastside LV at all costs.

I’ll never understand the “give us more pay”. Out of maybe 50 teachers at our HS, I maybe met 2 who wanted to be teachers. The rest were literal dog s*** that couldn’t make it in their professions & take it out on kids. “Yeah I got an MSc in Biology. That’s why I’m teaching grade 8 science.” Like go f*** yourself you loser.
Professors are a different story. While I still think they’re pompous s***s, they usually are subject matter experts in their domain, and are passionate about their fields.
