this thinking I just don’t get, f*** the judge but he just emboldened her to go with her instincts even further, and gave himself mad unnecessary prison time, only he & the dude who’s head got cracked are suffering from this

I've seen people confusing "Maybe she shouldn't have mocked him during sentencing" with justification for the inmates attack when that very clearly isn't the case.

Nobody is defending or supporting bro for attacking the judge. That's dumb as hell. But none of us are surprised that somebody with a history of violence, anger issues, and supposed mental illness was set off by a judge who scoffed at his attempts to get right and him getting a job before taking all that away from him and sending him to jail.

Two things can be true here. What bro did was dumb af, and I'd still advise anybody in his position to try and keep it cool. But I'm not surprised he reacted the way he did. I also don't like how this judge tried to make light of ripping away the life of the guy who was making the efforts towards getting his life in order by sending him to prison.
