It's just this new generation of hip hop that is so trash

We lucky we still got Ye, Drake (CLB trash tho), J. Cole and other veterans making music

for sure. the fact that we still haven't gotten someone to challenge drake kendrick cole is annoying af smfh

The indie scene is fresh and innovative but the mainstream is full of underwhelming songs and talent all around. We still don't have a new true ringleader in hip hop yet....just a bunch of dudes churning out hot songs that get old after a few weeks on their playlist sounding albums.

It makes me appreciate the older years more tbh. But, as I mentioned before, you can still look forward to the indie/underground scene putting out quality records. And the newer rappers occasionally have dope songs too.

Stop it slime. 1989-1995, 2009-2015 or 1999-2005 are much better. I know it's not cool to say that but, especially mainstream wise, it's true.
