Maybe Voir Dire because I just can’t find any flaw in it. Nightmare Logic by Power Trip I heard for the first time a few months ago, same deal. MIKE’s Beware the Monkey grew on me to the point that I’d consider it deserving of a perfect score
Working Title for the Album Secret Waters and Man Plays the Horn have been in regular rotation for me lately and those are both 10s
H T III by ‘Gabe Nandez comes pretty close were it not for the french artist featured - no disrespect just not my thing. Noname’s latest may also get there
Dedicated to the Babies Who Came Feet-First has plenty of flaws but idc, and I think that can constitute a perfect rating as well
My favorite david berman release. The writing is just so vivid and honest. Hard album to listen to for obvious reasons but it’s really a masterpiece in my eyes
real af that's wassup
it's been a long time since i heard it, but in some weird way it helped me through my breakup lol

Glad you didn't say "blonde" but I still side eye you for including "trilogy"
Magdalene by FKA Twigs
Amnioverse by Lapalux
Intermission by Deb Never
Quest For Fire / Don't Get Too Close by Skrillex (I think the bounce back that he did this past year was incredible. He went from being looked at as the worst thing to happen to dubstep and electronic years ago to dropping a double album ten years later, completely reinventing his sound, leveling up even further and doing it with precision. He recently lost his mother and went through an extremely dark period, if you look at pictures of him from years ago to now he looks like an entirely different person)

The cure love love deluxe is such a beautiful album too so close to a 5 for me. Great collection
This is the list of every album I wouldn't consider tens but are great albums and deserve to be mentioned
The Archer by Alexandra Savior (Very close to being a 10 for me)
Screen Violence by CHVRCHES (Very close to being a 10, great Halloween album. Concise dark synthpop album with minimal filler)
Flamagra by Flying Lotus (Not a 10 but a distinct listen, a mix of a lot of great things)
Mollyworld by Robb Bank$ (Underrated, one of the best in his discog)
Dying To Live by Kodak Black (His best album production wise)
Songs For You by Tinashe (Her best work so far)
Outer Peace by Toro y Moi (Extremely enjoyable)
Anniversary by Bryson Tiller (Slept on in comparison to Trapsoul, I think this is the better of the two)
Manic by Halsey (Might not be for everyone, but great pop music. Unique sound selection and vivid art direction. Her best album)
Alpha by Charlotte Day Wilson
Where The Heart Is by Sweet Pill (Midwest Emo / Pop Punk similar to peak Fall Out Boy / Paramore. Hayley Williams cosign)
Deb Never - Thank You For Attending + Where Have All The Flowers Gone? (Best new artist for me currently)
I recommend all of these albums. All from the past 5 years
I’ve never heard an album in my entire life where I thoroughly enjoyed every single song.
I don’t think art can be perfect, but it can be great
That being said:

Just look at that track-list 😩. Could cure erectile dysfunction in an 85 year old, obese p*** addict
It's been a while, but probably Fishmans - Long Season
Although tbf I did recently listen to OK Computer for the first time in years and it solidified to me that it's one of the best things ever recorded

I prefer the live version of long season but both fire
I prefer the live version of long season but both fire
For me there's stuff I prefer in each one, it's a genuinely impossible choice for me so I swap each time I listen
Hmm...
I'd say "DAYTONA".
No skips.
short & sweet.
Pryor to that, I'll probably go with either: "TPAB" or "MBDTF" < (which is my all-time favorite record)
"Alfredo" by Al & Freddie's an honorable mention.
I also f*** with Madlib's "Sound Ancestors" heavy too & believe it to be damn near flawless.
the concept of "perfect" art is stupid
Have you ever come across an album with no skips & that you enjoy thoroughly?
Have you ever come across an album with no skips & that you enjoy thoroughly?
yes, and i would feel weird calling it perfect
unless we're all arbitrarily and collectively using a modified definition of the word perfect
