Agree with being excited for future Collabs. After feet of clay I really don’t know what to expect from his next project

u didn't fw FOC that much?

i think it was a in between project he had to get out the system u know i don't view it as like a proper studio album or whatever u wanna call it, that being said i loved it, still do.

and we already know hes cooking again for the next one

100% agree on Him needing to get it out of his system! These were my thoughts i posted in album thread earlier :

He mastered brevity on IDLS and SRS but here it’s like a regression. In pursuit of that brevity here it came at the expense of substance to the rhymes. Yes there’s rhyme schemes and entendres but it’s not as personal as SRS or IDLS.

Also the delivery was too lethargic for me on some of the tracks, whole world is an exception tho.

I respect earl for trying something different and at the end of the day he has mentioned music is his outlet to sort his life out, so I can’t be too critical of his wish to express his current emotional mind state.

yeah i agree on that it didn't seem like a growth spurt type project like SRS was to IDLS it was just snapshot of what he was going through at that exact moment in time.
nothing all too concise and thought out with a theme like SRS was

still some amazing verses on there for sure

First album of theirs I listen to fully. I always liked some songs here and there but was also put off a bit by Matt's style of singing. Something just clicked and now I love it. Indie classic so not much to say. Might check Boxer next

    8-9/10
Fav songs: This is the last time, Demons, Don't swallow the Cap

    Wayne - Carter V

Had this on while sorting out my hard drive and it didn't sounds as bad as first listen. I think I was more critical on first listen because I was paying attention to the rhymes and my expectations were higher because of his older output.

If the album was cut down it could have been a more solid peice of work.

Decided to revisit, liquid swords was always gonna be impossible to beat but lyrically GZA was on point. The beats don't hit as hard as prime RZA and the skits are annoying but there's at least 4 tracks that are perfect GZA
